MEET RAY WARD

My family consists of me, my wife Beverly (the world’s best campaign manager and chief of staff), my son Stephen, my daughter Lucy and son-in-law Nathan, my daugher Yvonne and son-in-law TJ, and my granddaughter.

I am a family physician in private practice.  I work at Cope Family Medicine/Ogden Clinic on the corner of 400 East and Medical Drive in Bountiful, near Lakeview Hospital. I enjoy working with older patients and helping patients who struggle with addiction issues.

I like playing Pickleball so I was very happy about the new courts that have opened recently.  If you are looking for a Pickleball opponent who is medium on skill and high on enthusiasm, let me know and we can set up a game.

My ancestor, Israel Barlow, settled in Bountiful in 1849 with the very first group of Mormon pioneers to come here. Although he looks fairly grim in this photo from the 1880’s - He was known in the community as a good farmer and gardener, taking special pride in his varieties of peaches and roses.

I was first elected to the Utah House of Representatives in 2014.  I really like getting to serve there.
